Exploring and challenging the social implications of technological innovations through connectivity, content, openness and security. DOKU:TECH is an initiative of IPKO Foundation, SHARE Foundation and DokuFest.


DOKU:TECH stands for net neutrality and open internet for everyone, where few restrictions are made and users can freely make informed decisions about what applications and services they are interested in using, what kind of things they choose to share and what lawful content they want to access.

Day One speakers are digital activists who written books, played an important role in advocacy and awareness building among Internet users and communities. Speakers include: Bruce Sterling, Deanna Zandt, Lee Bryant, Jasmina Tesanovic and Bilal Ghalib followed by a panel on Hackerspaces.
