DokuFest, in partnership with the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, hosted four days of workshops on Media and Information Literacy in Prizren. These sessions brought together 60 teachers from across Kosovo, equipping them with essential skills to teach media education in their classrooms.
From November 16 to 24, teachers explored innovative ways to help students think critically about the media they consume. Led by respected university professors, the workshops focused on practical topics like identifying trustworthy sources, fact-checking, and understanding complex media messages, including gender-related issues.
The sessions weren’t just about learning new techniques—they were a space for collaboration and fresh ideas. With translation provided in Turkish and Serbian, educators from different communities came together, united by their shared goal of creating more engaging and informed learning environments for their students.
This initiative reflects on DokuFest's and OSCE’s commitment to supporting educators and preparing students to navigate media with curiosity and confidence—a meaningful step forward for schools across Kosovo and a proud achievement for everyone involved.
