Even this year, we continue the tradition of pushing boundaries and spotlighting the sounds shaping today’s underground music scene. This year, we join the Sound Metaphors 10-Year Anniversary Tour, celebrating a decade of belief in vinyl, dancefloors, DIY spirit, and community. On August 9, DokuFest welcomes three genre-defining acts, Sound Metaphors, Sleep D, and Genc Elezaj, for a night where music moves beyond entertainment into something immersive and transformative. On the lineup: three acts, two continents, one love.

SOUND METAPHORS DJs
Aka Castro and Nemo don’t just DJ, they create ecosystems. Over the last ten years, the duo has built Sound Metaphors into a globally respected platform. It’s more than a record store. It’s also a network of labels, a physical space for discovery, a universe for edits and tools, and a sound system lab for custom setups. It’s a place where ideas take shape and where club music is treated with the care of fine art. Their DJ sets are the culmination of all this energy. Genre-agnostic, full of unreleased material, beautifully paced, and deeply physical. They’ve played marathon sets at our favorites like Cocktail D’Amore and Berghain, sometimes with 18-hour journeys, but no matter the room or the length, they always hold the same principle: the dancefloor is sacred, and music should move you…emotionally, mentally, physically.
SLEEP D (butter session)
From the other side of the world, Sleep D, based in Naarm/Melbourne, have carved out one of the most exciting legacies in underground club culture. Childhood friends with roots in Iraqi and Maltese heritage, Corey Kikos and Maryos Syawish run the genre-blurring Butter Sessions label, home to some of the most vital sounds coming out of Australia in the last decade. Their sets are hypnotic, loose, and full of left turns. House, ambient, acid, dubbed-out breaks, bush-doof mutations, it’s all in there, stitched together with instinct and trust in the crowd. Beyond their records, they’ve built a reputation through residencies and live sets that stretch the limits of what rave music can feel like.
GENC ELEZAJ
To those who know, Genc needs no introduction. To those who don’t, this night will be the perfect one. A cornerstone of Kosovo’s evolving scene, Genc moves across genres and disciplines like few others. As a DJ, he’s known for his patient and intentional builds, setting up emotional arcs that creep in slowly and hit when you least expect. But Genc’s world doesn’t stop in the club. He’s also composed for experimental theatre, dance, and performance art, bringing a keen sense of atmosphere and storytelling into everything he does. That sensibility shines through in his sound, textural, moody, cinematic. He’s not just playing tracks, he’s drawing a map for where we might go. Together, these three acts promise a night that’s not just about music, but about presence. About memory. About the moments we carry long after the lights come back on.
The regular ticket price for this performance is €10; however, with a Procredit bank account/card, you can purchase the ticket for only 7.
