DokuFest is pleased to announce a selection of films bordering between documentary and fiction in a strand called Fiction/Non-Fiction. Eight fiction films where filmmakers experiment with genre-bending narratives, use documentary modes, tropes and tools, and their filmic language by no means novel, form this eclectic selection.

Fresh from festival circuit are titles such as Rich Peppiatt’s film about Irish hip hop sensation Kneecap, To a Land Unknown, Mahdi Fleifel’s debut fiction after a number of shorts , Gürcan Keltek’s foray into fiction world with its mesmerizing New Dawn Fades, a DokuFest regular Courtney Stephens’s strange and fascinating Invention, inimitable Želimir Žilnik’s masterfull Eighty Plus, Jem Cohen’s delightful Little, Big, and Far, Agostina Di Luciano & Leon Schwitter magical and mystical The World Upside Down and Gaspard Hirschi’s funny and entertaining I Am Night at Noonday.
