Yll Limani has just made a generous support to support our Green Cinema initiative, a new chapter in our commitment to building a sustainable, eco-friendly cinema powered by clean energy.
Just hours before stepping onto the DokuNights stage, our beloved artist Yll Limani joined us at DokuFest to show his support for a cause close to our hearts. We are deeply grateful for his generous donation of 10,000 euros to our DokuFest Green Cinema initiative, a vital step toward our vision of building a fully sustainable, environmentally friendly cinema.
For years, our award-winning Solar Cinema project has brought free outdoor film screenings to communities across Kosovo, including some of the most remote corners of the country. Now, with DokuFest Green Cinema, we are opening a new chapter, one that places clean energy and environmental responsibility at the center of the cinematic experience.
We sincerely thank Yll Limani for believing in our mission and contributing to a future where cinema doesn’t harm the planet, but instead becomes a tool for positive change.
The DokuFest Green Cinema project remains open to further contributions. We invite artists, partners, companies, and individuals to join us in this movement, in the belief that cinema has the power not only to reflect the world, but also to help transform it.
