This initiative, aimed at equipping young participants with fundamental technological competencies, was developed and delivered by specialists from Hallakate, a leading company in the field. In collaboration with ITP Prizren Innovation and Training Park, the training provided students with a strong foundation in navigating the digital world safely and effectively. As digital literacy becomes increasingly crucial, the session empowered participants with practical knowledge on protecting their digital presence, understanding online threats, and utilizing digital tools for creative and professional growth.
The training was structured into five groups, bringing together participants from 11 municipalities across Kosovo, including Vushtrri, Mitrovica, Lipjan, Podujeva, Obiliq, Prishtina, Vitija, Gjilan, Kamenicë, Gjakova, Prizren, and Fushë Kosovë. With over 230 students in attendance, this training marked a significant step in fostering digital awareness and cultural transformation through technology.
The sessions were led by expert trainers from Hallakate, including Valon Canhasi, Ergyn Mesherkan, and Kaltrina Jashari. The training agenda covered a range of essential topics, starting with an Introduction to Digital Skills, where participants gained an understanding of fundamental digital tools and their applications. This was followed by a session on the Basics of Cyber Security, where the focus was on how to protect personal data and navigate the online world safely. Participants also explored the Fundamentals of Digital Content Creation, learning creative digital production techniques. The training concluded with Hands-on Practical Work, allowing participants to apply their newly acquired knowledge through interactive exercises.
With its first training successfully completed, D:FICT continues to serve as a platform for young individuals to engage with innovation and prepare for the digital age. Stay tuned for updates on future training sessions and events under this exciting initiative!
