We are thrilled to announce the launch of call for application for the “Human Rights Factory: Ethnic community cooperation through storytelling-Stories We Tell”, funded by European Office in Kosovo, Implemented by DokuFest. “Stories We Tell” is a program coaching 6 short documentary projects from the initial idea to their full realizations. The selected filmmakers will be invited to participate in a series of workshops and master classes, after which they will be offered a full in-kind production grant (camera gear, editing facilities and continuous tutorship) to complete their films. A total of 6 documentaries will be produced through the DokuFest Film Production Centre. The documentaries produced will be premiered at DokuFest 2015.
WHO CAN APPLY?
The program is aimed at 18 professional filmmakers (directors/producers/sound engineers) from Kosovo, Albania, Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Montenegro

WHAT IS COVERED?
DokuFest will cover the expense of travel to Prizren, the costs of accommodation and allowance for daily expenses.
The participants will use the equipment of the DokuFest Film Production Center to complete their films.
The workshop will be conducted in English, so the participants must have good command of English Language
Each team (director, cinematographer, sound technician) will have to participate in a full series of workshops and master classes.
The project submitted should be at early stage of development.
Applicant may act as a director-producer of a project.
SELECTION OF PARTICIPANTS:
Shortlisted participants will be invited to Prizren to attend a pitching session to present their documentary projects. A panel of experts will select a maximum of 6 projects, in teams of director/camera operator/sound engineer, etc. (i.e. max. 18 participants) on the basis of the application submitted and their pitch.
