On August 14th: we return to the source!
We are excited to welcome audiences to a spectacular evening with Konduku, Carl H and Bufiman at Andrra Stage. While we have still not yet revealed the full line-up for this year’s DokuNights, here is an exquisite surprise for all music lovers out there.
Navigating through techno, psychedelia, ambient, disco and experimental music, this night aims to be a highlight of DokuNights, sending us to the core roots of a music night in DokuFest. Their work in music negates categorization, making it a blending experience of liberation. Though each of the performers are absolute standalones, together they will make a cosmic match through their unwavering commitment to movement and their distinct sonic landscapes.
Each approaches the dancefloor as a space for discovery, where carefully crafted journeys replace formulaic peak-time moments and unexpected connections emerge between sounds, eras, and cultures. Rooted in influential underground communities and celebrated for their adventurous musical vision, they share a belief that electronic music can be both physically compelling and intellectually engaging.
And at DokuNights, this trio will carve out the purest and strangest experience!
More about the artists
KONDUKU
Konduku occupies a singular space between percussive force and atmospheric depth. Moving through half-time steppers, futuristic house and lucid techno experiments, his music is defined by fluid motion, unusual rhythmic structures and a deep fascination with drums. Closely associated with Nous’klaer Audio, his catalogue also includes releases on Delsin’s Mantis series, DJ Nobu’s Bitta label and Spazio Disponibile.
Across them, he has developed an unmistakable language that is fast, hypnotic, polyrhythmic and constantly shifting. Now based in Berlin, Konduku brings the same curiosity to his DJ sets, blending UK bass, turn-of-the-century tech house and mid-2000s Italian techno into radical new hybrids. Precise yet unpredictable, his sets leave a lasting physical and psychological imprint.
CARL H
Carl H is a passionate explorer of electronic music’s deepest and strangest corners. For more than two decades, he has built a world of progged-out oddities, trance-laden artefacts, psychedelic transmissions and genre-defying dancefloor peculiarities.
Originally from the British seaside town of Cleethorpes, he is the founder of Animals on Psychedelics, a label devoted to sounds that exist beyond familiar categories. His wide-ranging selections have taken him across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
Whether closing a festival or taking control of an intimate club, Carl combines an enormous sonic range with surgical precision. His sets move patiently through forgotten records, mutant forms of trance and psychedelic electronics, constructing journeys that feel both deeply physical and completely mind-altering.
BUFIMAN
Jan Schulte is a DJ, producer, dancer and rhythm enthusiast from Düsseldorf. Through aliases including Wolf Müller, Bufiman and Diskoking Burnhart McKoolski, he explores different forms of percussive, psychedelic and experimental dance music.
As Wolf Müller, he combines live percussion, delayed guitars and kraut-inspired rhythms. As Bufiman, tribal disco, stomping bass drums and jacking hi-hats collide in playful and unpredictable ways.
For more than five years, Schulte was a resident at Düsseldorf’s legendary Salon des Amateurs, a centre for peculiar and genre-resistant club music. His intensely rhythmic DJ sets move freely between African-inspired krautrock, voodoo techno, mutant disco and forgotten B-side classics, transforming the dancefloor into a space of curiosity, movement and surprise.
See you on the 14th! Tickets will be available for purchase very soon.
