DokuFest is turning 25, and this edition will be a special one. From 7–15 August 2026, Prizren will once again transform into a city of films, music, people, conversations, and unforgettable summer nights. And behind all of this energy is one of the most important parts of the festival: our volunteers.
Every year, our volunteers bring DokuFest to life with their smiles, dedication, curiosity, and positive energy. Known as our “buzzing bees,” they are the heart of the festival, helping every screening, event, concert, guest arrival, and festival moment run smoothly.
This year, as we celebrate the 25th edition of DokuFest, we are looking for young people who want to be part of something bigger: a festival community built on art, friendship, teamwork, and unforgettable experiences.
As a volunteer, you will have the chance to work closely with different festival departments, including Events, Media & PR, Hospitality, Logistics, and more. Whether you are helping guests, supporting screenings, working behind the scenes, or being part of the festival’s daily rhythm, you will gain hands-on experience, meet new people, and become part of the magic that makes DokuFest special.
Volunteering at DokuFest is not just about helping during the festival. It is about learning new skills, building connections, discovering how a major cultural event works, and experiencing Prizren during its most vibrant days of the year.
As a thank-you for your contribution, all volunteers will receive a certificate of participation and become part of a community that continues to support cinema, creativity, collaboration, and understanding.
