We are excited to announce a live performance by Ziúr and Cosimo Damiano, who will bring their recent collaborative live show to DokuFest.

United by their shared creative vision, Ziúr and Cosimo Damiano only crossed paths relatively recently but immediately clicked. They have a remarkably similar attitude towards their work, something that's evident on their recent releases for Berlin's esteemed Kuboraum Editions label, and after making their live debut together in Rome this spring, their collaborative project is destined to keep evolving.

Driven by a relentless appetite for boundless experimentation, Ziúr has been subverting expectations since she was a teenager, corkscrewing through hardcore, metal and punk before veering toward electronic music’s fringes. Genre isn’t a fixed point for Ziúr but a color in a vast palette that stretches across history and borders, helping illustrate music that’s powerfully subversive — a vivid crack of light in a dim, lifeless cultural landscape.

Cosimo Damiano is a musician and producer whose work moves between dream and myth. His practice traverses diverse territories, from rave culture to experimental music, and from performance art to film scoring.

Among his most acclaimed projects are Salò and I Canzonieri. Alongside these, he pursues a solo practice oriented toward something older than techno: an alchemy of rhythm, trance, and transcendence that evokes distant ages and a forgotten consciousness, opening rifts where the past dissolves and something not yet nameable begins to take shape.

This special performance is supported by the Italian Institute of Culture in Tirana.
