On one of the four DokuNights, three local artists take lead.

Although they come together under the keyword "hip-hop," Marshall Jungle, Liburn Jupolli, and Lluni each bring a distinct approach to musical creation, reconstructing the genre and bridging generations of multifaceted artistic expression.

The merging of rhythm with rhyme brings an experience that speaks to both individuality and collective expression. Rooted in a shared history, yet looking at the present in highly diverse ways, their performances blur the boundaries between nostalgia and reality checking through a soundscape that will feel both familiar and new.

LLUNI
Lluni is a singer from Kosovo known for his work in the hip hop/rap genre, where he combines modern rap with elements of Albanian music. His songs are characterized by strong lyrics and energetic beats.
He has collaborated with several well-known Albanian artists such as Ledri Vula, MC Kresha, Lyrical Son, Blleki, Semiautomatik, Erno, Elinel, and Rina Balaj. Some of his mos well known tracks include “Narcos Albania,” “Rick Ross,” “Mario & Luigi,” “In My Zone,” and “JBMTQR" which have helped him gain recognition and build a strong presence in the Albanian rap scene.

DJ JUNGLE
Asdren Zogaj, better known as Marshall Jungle, is a Prishtina-based DJ with more than two decades of experience behind the decks. Starting his journey at the age of 16, he became one of Kosovo’s most recognized hip-hop DJs, building his reputation through years of club performances, festivals and live shows across Kosovo, Europe and USA.

As the longtime DJ of BABASTARS, Marshall Jungle has been closely connected to one of the most influential chapters of Kosovo’s hip-hop scene. Throughout his career, he has shared stages with internationally renowned artists including 50 Cent, Rick Ross, Fat Joe, DJ Premier and DJ Whoo Kid.

LIBURN JUPOLLI
Prof. Assist. Dr. Liburn Jupolli is an award-winning composer, multi-instrumentalist, instrument inventor, producer and researcher from Kosovo, with more than 20 years of professional experience. He has released 26 albums and composed music for more than 140 productions across theatre, film, animation, visual art and games in Europe, the United States and India. His work has been performed and presented at festivals, concert venues and academic institutions in more than 14 countries.

In 2026, Jupolli composed the music for the Kosovo Pavilion at the Venice Biennale. His practice spans contemporary composition, improvisation, electronic and electroacoustic music, experimental performance and interdisciplinary collaboration. He is also the inventor of three original instruments: Octo, an eight-output microtonal instrument; the remodelled Clossor; and the amplified percussive instrument Stragonaal.

Jupolli founded Kosovo’s first Faculty of Modern Music at UBT, where he teaches composition, music innovation and electronic music. He also lectures in music technology and electroacoustic composition at the University of Prishtina. Alongside his musical and academic practice, he has contributed to cultural policy through his work within Kosovo’s Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, the Office of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, as well as to the development of Kosovo’s international cultural cooperation.
