The Verdict

Sixteen years after the war, in the main square of Zagreb several thousand people gathered to watch a live broadcast of the verdict to Croatian generals. Through a series of close-ups, the film documents the eruption of emotions caused by the verdict.

Biografia e Regjisorëve

Đuro Gavran was born 1982 in Bjelovar. In 2007 he graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Design in Zagreb and then took up an MA in documentary film at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb, Department of Film and TV Directing. He has exhibited his works at three solo and around thirty domestic and international exhibitions and participated at a dozen film festivals. He lives and works in Zagreb as a freelance multimedia artist.
