"Letters from Silivri" kujton letrat e filantropit turk dhe intelektualit të njohur Osman Kavala për të dokumentuar kronologjinë e burgimit të tij. Duke ndarë zërin nga pamjet filmi ka për qëllim të krijojë një dhomë eko që i lejon audiencës të dëgjojë më me kujdes letrat e Kavalas, derisa në të njëjtën kohë i vë fjalët e tij në kontekstin e shoqërisë civile.

Biografia e Regjisorëve

Adrian Figueroa is a director, video artist and filmmaker from Germany. In 2009, he completed his master's degree at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London. Since 2010, he has made several award-winning documentary films including Die Lücke – Ein Stück Keupstraße about the NSU bomb attack, and Elsewhere, which premiered at Hof Film Festival in 2017 and awarded Best Documentary in 2018 at the Achtung Berlin Film Festival. His production of One Day I Went to Lidl was invited to the German Youth Theatre Convention in 2016. In cooperation with the prison theatre project "aufBruch" he realises theatre projects in Berlin prisons. His work as a video artist and stage director led him to performances at the Deutsches Theater Berlin, Schauspiel Frankfurt, Schauspiel Köln, HAU Berlin, Staatsschauspiel Dresden, JSA Berlin, Casa Alianza Mexico, Old Vic Tunnels London and the Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin.
