WHAT’S THE DAMAGE është një propozim dhe provokim, si përgjigje ndaj krizave të vazhdueshme nën patriarkinë e bardhë, duke transmetuar dhe zmadhuar ndjenjat dhe gjestet e ankthit kronik, protestës dhe mospajtimit. Thirrjet në gjyq dhe stuhitë e kundërpërgjigjes së Phillipsonit përmes gjakut menstrual, duke u ngritur kundër trapave të lidershipit, vorbullave të qara, orangutangëve të dobët, bankënotave me dhjam kafshësh, superhënave në përparim, picave dhe dronëve.
Regjisor/e
Heather Phillipson works across video, sculpture, music, drawing and text. Her current and upcoming projects include the Fourth Plinth, Trafalgar Square in 2020, a major commission for Art on the Underground’s flagship site at Gloucester Road, an online commission for the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago and a solo show at BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art (all 2018). Recent solo projects include: Screens Series, New Museum, New York; Whitechapel Gallery, London; Frieze Projects New York; 32nd São Paolo Biennale, Brazil; Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt, the 14th Istanbul Biennial and Performa, New York.
