An old couple from the Albanian countryside, receives a wedding invitation from a close relative to the capital city. At first they are very enthusiastic, but soon the indifferent and snobbish people around, make them feel unwelcome.

Biografia e Regjisorëve

Ylljet Aliçka, born in 1951, in Tirana, Albania as the third child of a doctor and a seamstress. From 1969 till 1973, he studied Biochemistry at the University of Tirana. In 1991 he finished his doctorate in didactics. He’s a well-known novelist and screenwriter. From 2007 to 2013, he has served as the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania in France, Portugal and Monaco; as the personal representative of the President of the Republic of Albania; as the Albanian Permanent Delegate in UNESCO.
