In September1998, near the end of the Balkan wars, the Serbian military discovered 37 dead bodies in a concrete canal in western Kosovo. Nearly a decade later, the Prime Minister of Kosovo would be falsely accused of their murder. Haradinaj was a prominent commander in the Kosovo Liberation Army. The film follows the events of the unfolding trial as seen through the eyes of Michael O’Reilly, an Irish lawyer living in Prishtina.

<p>John Murphy is a recent graduate of Trinity College Dublin where he received his degree in sociology and economics. After college he spent a year working for Ireland’s national broadcaster, RTE, before setting up Headland Pictures with former school-mate Rob O’Reilly. This is his first feature to date. ROB O’REILLY was a student in the National Film School of Ireland where he directed and produced a number of short fiction films. This is MURPHY & O\‘REILLY\‘S first film to date.</p><br />
