Frydenlund Hair Parlour

Synopsis

A WW2 story focusing on hair, not heroes. Five siblings and their hair parlour offer women of the small Norwegian town Narvik a sense of normality in the midst of madness and despair.

Director Biography

Hanne Berkaak is an acclaimed illustrator and director based in Oslo, Norway. Berkaak holds a MA in Communication Art & Design from Royal College of Art, London, and a BA in animation from Parson's School of Design, New York.
