A huge blackout has plunged Cuba into darkness. In the streets, the inhabitants try to escape the gloom while the bonfires seem to announce the end of an era. Taking refuge inside our house, my mother tells me about a vision that has been tormenting her for years.
Alejandro Alonso was born October 10, 1987 in Pinar del Río, Cuba. Graduated from the specialty of Documentary Direction at the EICTV in 2015. His films have been exhibited in Cuba, Mexico, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Brazil, the United States of America, Canada, Indonesia, Japan, Holland, Spain, Italy, Hungary, Georgia, Switzerland, Germany, Rumania, Russia, and France.
