A night of progressive sound and hearts full of love in our freshly curated program of DokuNights! We are proud to bring to DokuFest this year one of the most influential and iconic Berlin labels/collectives: HYPERSOFT. They will make us wait for the sunrise together, just like in the old days.

BAMBI

Don’t trust the doe eyes; Bambi has a few mean spells in her bag. Following the steps of a new

generation of genre-breaking DJs possessed by the 90’s rave demons, Bambi has made a name for herself in France thanks to her nuanced, cosmic sets fuelled with techno, dub, breaks, and deep trance influences. The former violin student turned hip-hop dancer roamed around Europe’s sweatiest dancefloors to build up a solid knowledge of dance culture and an unwavering passion for hypnotic mixes. Beyond the decks, she also promotes safe spaces and sex positivity within the French non-profit Consentis, and contributes to French reflexive collective Au-delà du club (Beyond the Club).

DJ TEETH

“An elixir of 90’s progressive and trance, mad Acid House, analogue synthesizer & Belgian new beat twists. With a dash of psychedelic space techno for the pleasures of worldwide dancefloor enthusiasts.” Born in Buenos Aires, Santi, has spent the last decade in Berlin, where he has cultivated and refined his aural craftsmanship. His earliest sonic influence is his mother’s and grandmother's invasive 80s dance music fanaticism. Saturday morning house chores to the rhythms of Donna Summer, Giorgio Moroder, and Cerrone tunes were pivotal to developing a passion for all things vinyl—his most valuable possessions. DJ TEETH co-founded Hypersoft, a Berlin queer-friendly collective and club night that facilitates openness––creating new dancing experiences and providing a platform for up-and-coming and established DJs alike.

TPR

TPR is one of the key figures behind Hypersoft, the queer collective he founded in 2022 with DJ TEETH. DJing and working in music since his teens, the UK-born Berlin resident has been all over Berlin for the last 15 years as a DJ, promoter and working behind the scenes at a number of clubs, labels and collectives. He’s no stranger to some of the city’s most coveted booths and underground parties, including regular appearances at Berghain’s Lab.oratory and excursions further afield to institutions such as the legendary Robert Johnson.

In 2024, he’s been playing more b2bs with artists including Desire and Aiden Francis, while managing the development of Hypersoft‘s new label and first release, a 15-track fundraiser VA in aid of trans youth.

LEART RAMA

Leart Rama is a film director from Kosovo who found his calling in sound design. Growing up making films, he discovered a raw and intimate connection between his scripts and the music he listened to. With a thirst for knowledge, he got himself in different styles of electronic music, exploring the far reaches of the genre and unlocking new levels of interest. Using bold contrasts and fearless expression, Leart's DJ sets and films are a reflection of life itself characterized with the harshest noise to the most ethereal ambient, he pushes the boundaries and takes his audience on a personal journey. Leart is the curator of one of the region's biggest festivals, DokuNights. He is also the founder of Katarzë Films and the newest label/collective in Prishtina, Kosovo, called blissblissbliss, dedicated to bringing new stories and sounds to his hometown.
