Miranda, the striker for Manchester Acatitla, has an altercation on the field of play that leaves a scar on her face: she and her teammates face the aggressiveness of the rival team, generating a violent atmosphere among women. Despite the circumstances, Miranda's team is victorious and she embarks on a journey back home. Along the way she faces dangers off the pitch.

Director

In 2011 Selma started her filmmaking education at UNAM’s Centro Universitario de Estudios Cinematográficos , finishing her career in 2018. She directed and collaborated in several projects during her career. In 2019 she won IMCINE’s 19o National Contest of Short Films Projects to create her short film Manchester Acatitla. She was also admitted to FONCA’s program “Jóvenes Creadores” to develop her script Farewell to the Flesh.
