Two siblings live in the industrial town of Elefsina. A bridge connects their neighborhood, inhabited mostly by Black-Sea Greeks, to an area inhabited by immigrants varied background. Social divisions give rise to hostility, reflected in the local sports scene and two siblings’ relationships.
Directors' Biography
Evi Kalogiropoulou is a visual artist and filmmaker working both in Athens and London. Evi has studied in Athens School Fine Art and she hold a Master from the Royal College of Art in Moving Image.
She accomplished a film commissioned by the Onassis Foundation for the ENTER online exhibition and a film commissioned by PCAI for their film collection. Her film NEIGHBOURS was screened in the Whitechapel Gallery and at the BFI.
