Synopsis

A short film with the stories of the survivors of the infamous “Camp of Tepelena” during the dictatorship in Albania. Narrated by the few people still alive.

Director Biography

Elton Baxhaku is an acclaimed Albanian film-maker, best known for his 2014 documentary ‘Skandal’ and the 2016 documentary ‘Selita’, which was co-directed by Eriona Cami. He is one of the new generation directors that is producing documentaries to tell the stories that matter. Concerned more and more with the human condition and human rights in his own country, Albania, he is exploring his inner voice in relation with the hostile environment surrounding him. His works discovers the suppressed voices that never made it to be known to public, and doing so he is inspiring reaction.
