Synopsis

Sporadic gunshots echo among the ruins of a village which, though abandoned, is an objective of great import for the Romanian government. This forces two young men to lead a hard negotiation, both for the fate of the settlement and for their own future.

Director Biography

Adrian Silişteanu graduated in Cinematography in Bucharest and also studied Digital Cinematography at the National Audiovisual Institute in Paris, becoming an early adopter of digital technology. Very experienced with all sorts of cameras but also with various types of film stocks, he has built an impressive slate of films and TV dramas over the last ten years. Hard worker and hugely passionate about storytelling, he always tries to balance the technical aspects with artistic research, aiming to unveil the core of the surrounding reality through the lens of his camera.
