My World in Yours

Synopsis

Sham is hanging out with a group of hip Malmö girls, but she has a secret she keeps from his girlfriend Stella. She doesn’t have a residence permit and has another girlfriend who’s still there in Palestine.

Directors' Biography

Jenifer Malmqvist is a graduate from the director’s program of the Polish National Film School in Lodz. Her short film, On Suffocation, was awarded the “Guldbagge” for Best Short at the Swedish Academy Awards in 2014. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2013, where her previous shorts Birthday and Peace Talk also had their premieres. Her films have been called realistic with elements of surrealism and absurdism.
