Synopsis

This film is a contemporary Italian story, inspired by true events. Fiore, former factory worker of Genoa, is one of the many Italians broken separate fathers crushed by serious economic necessities that finds himself living overnight in his car, forced into a situation where he cannot react. The man cannot maintains his son anymore and realized that his life has reached a blind street. The new poor are living too fast a radical change to learn how to acquire the weapons to survive to it. And then, because of a creeping gambling addiction and the loss of employment, the protagonist takes refuge in the lie, unable even to seek help from a world that had so quickly abandoned him.

Director Biography

Giovanni Aloi (italian, born 1984) studied flm history and criticism at the University of Bologna and “arts plastiques” at Universitè Paris VIII. Afer graduating he started working as a writer and camera operator for the italian TV show “Le Iene” seeking for unconventional stories that could shock the audience
