A Simpler Life

Synopsis

Ing-Marie and Carl are very busy. She with training, he with gardening. They surround themselves with gadgets designed to make their lives simpler, but all they really do is cause more problems. A humorous reflection on a hot late summer’s day.

Director Biography

Gunhild Enger (1980) graduated from Edinburgh College of Art 2005, and The School of Film Directing in Gothenburg 2012. She was nominated for a BAFTA with her graduation film Bargain, and has since then screened her films in festivals around the world. The film Premature (2012), won a lot of prizes all around the world, one of them on Brief Encounters Grand Prix for best international short 2012.
