Synopsis

Somewhere in Africa, some underground bikes races take place. Elias, a young man from the countryside, builds his own bike, using several used parts recovered from landfills. He will begin his great trip to the capital, to have a piece of the dream and take place in the race of his life.

Directors' Biography

Julien Paolini was born in Tuscany and grew up in the Paris suburbs. This dual identity, with its advantages and drawbacks, was to follow him throughout his life. Both avid viewer and reader, he developed his personality in local cinemas and libraries. He later explored this instinct in various Parisian drama schools while at the same time continuing to write, at first literary text, then focusing on scripts with a partiality for the anti-hero and particularly for ordinary men given to inner upheavals.
