Goodnight Nobody

Synopsis

„Goodnight nobody“is a hypnotic journey through the night. By entering the minds of four insomniacs who are night people against their will, we experience their state of suspension between a realistic dream world and a dream-like reality. Following the rhythm of the night, the experience of sleeplessness is palpable - stimulating but also numbing - with an interplay between melancholy and martyrdom.

Director Biography

Jacqueline Zünd was born in Zurich in 1971. She studied journalism at Ringier School of Journalism and London International Film School. Between 1996 and 1998 she worked as an editor and author on ‘Zebra’ for the German Swiss Broadcasting service. Since 1998 she has been an independent director.
