DokuFest invites high school teachers to apply to participate in one-day workshops on the use of audiovisual tools in teaching as part of their curriculum, which will be held during March 2024. The essence of the program lies in its inclusive approach, integrating critical thinking, active citizenship, human rights, and sustainable development. Through a combination of interactive learning tools, including films and clips, teachers will be equipped with online resources to create new learning environments focused on media education and critical analysis.
The training includes practical workshops led by experts and experienced educators in implementing audiovisual tools in the classroom, and their connection with the PreUniversity Education Curriculum Framework of Kosovo. This aims to prepare students and youth of Kosovo to face the challenges of the 21st century and to actively generate competitive knowledge for the global job market.
Who can apply?
High school teachers teaching social sciences and natural sciences (grades X-XII). We highly encourage the involvement of those teachers who practice teaching methods that reinforce self-confidence, initiative, problem-solving, and stimulate students' creativity.
Duration and location of the workshops:
The workshops are one-day activities held in Prizren. The next cycle of workshops will be held on March 16 and 17, 2024.
