Are you an innovative and creative teacher in classroom?

Are you interested in using new methods and alternative materials in your class?

Would you like to enhance your students’ creativity?

We’re happy to inform you that DokuFest is organizing virtual workshops with educators that are lecturing from the curriculum subjects: Language and Communication, Art, Society, Environment as well as Life and Work as part of curricular grades of 5 and 6 (X-XII classes). All educators who are lecturing these classes are encouraged to be part of the virtual workshops that will be held during November.

Workshops are organized within the FILM AND FACTUAL MEDIA project: Education 4 Equality and aim to empower our teachers in using film and other audio-visual tools - as tools and materials that are necessary for developing a classroom hour. Specifically, the workshops are centered in the perspective of lifespan learning, with a special focus in learning, evaluating and gaining an effective and conscious understanding of information as well as developing technological skills.

The selected teachers for the workshops will play a crucial role not only in implementing the skills and alternative methods in their classrooms but will also play a leading role in distributing and expanding these practices to other teachers.

Who is encouraged to apply:

  • Educators that use alternative teaching forms.

  • Educators that aim at developing students’ self confidence.

  • Educators that inspire their students to take initiatives and teach them problem-solving.

  • Educators that stimulate students’ creativity.

Due to a limited place, the selection of the educators will be made accordingly to their application evaluation.
