There is a man with two graves, and generations of children with none. Investigating a statue of Christopher Columbus, and the American Residential Schools that forcibly imprisoned indigenous children. Their bodies were hidden along with their traditions and language. Weaving stories from the land, the colonizer, and the struggle to fight back, this is a plea for justice.
Erin Wilkerson (b. Los Angeles, 1982) is a guerilla gardener, turned guerilla filmmaker, interested in anti-colonial ecologies, as an expansion of early professional work in landscape architecture. She has a passion to fight for the natural world. As co-founder of the political art collective, Creative Agitation, along with Travis Wilkerson, she seeks to create work that acts like a bomb for change, marrying politics and aesthetics. She is working towards an art based PhD on expanding ideas of Invasive Species.
