Synopsis

A space in silence, where past has captured present. Taking over, layer by layer, the collective pain enters the landscape, the space, the city. Eventually, it enters us. Srebrenica becomes a reality of today, and our own reality.

Director Biography

Kumjana Novakova, born in Macedonia, Yugoslavia, now lives and works in Sarajevo. Works in the documentary creative cinema and arts since 2006, Co-founder and director of Pravo ljudski documentary film festival, founder of the creative documentary film school Balkans ACT-ive in cooperation with DokuFest Prizren and MakeDox from Skopje. Guillermo Carreras-Candi is a Spanish/French independent filmmaker and producer born in Barcelona. He studied History and Sound before graduating at the Catalan film university (ESCAC-UB) where he specialized in Documentary Film. He collaborates with Dokufest Festival in Prizren (Kosovo) tutoring the film workshop "Shkolla e Filmit Dokumentar", and he is creative director of ACTive, the first regional creative documentary school in the Balkans.
