For the past 20 years, Olivier, a Frenchman, has lived on his own on a small island lended to him by First Nations people. He is there alone, 200 kilometers from Yellowknife, the only city of Northwestern Territories in Canada. One day, three visitors land on the island and distrupt his peace.
Director
Born in Kosovo (1992), Fisnik was a refugee in Switzerland until 2005. He studied film at ECAL / HEAD, completing his studies with a Master. His first film LOST EXILE (2016) premiered in Locarno and won
a jury award. Since then, he has released four films. Shot in Canada, NOSTROMO is his first film in North America. He is currently working on two feature films, THE LAND WITHIN and COTTON HANDS.
