Two siblings live in the industrial town of Elefsina. A bridge connects their neighborhood, inhabited mostly by Black-Sea Greeks, to an area inhabited by immigrants varied background. Social divisions give rise to hostility, reflected in the local sports scene and two siblings’ relationships.
Evi Kalogiropoulou is a visual artist and filmmaker working both in Athens and London. Evi has studied in Athens School Fine Art and she hold a Master from the Royal College of Art in Moving Image. She accomplished a film commissioned by the Onassis Foundation for the ENTER online exhibition and a film commissioned by PCAI for their film collection. Her film NEIGHBOURS was screened in the Whitechapel Gallery and at the BFI.
