Synopsis

Mitch is an autobiographical portrait of a 40-year-old man with schizophrenia, who is also the co-director and cinematographer of this film. Mitch goes through several years of film therapy during which he creates this artwork. His ‘therapist’ is Damir Čučić, the director, who appears in the film as an active participant as well. The various stages of Mitch’s therapy are marked by camera assignments which he completes according to where he is residing at that particular moment.

Director Biography

Damir Čučić, born in 1972. Brezice in Slovenia. Director, writer and producer for more than 30 alternative, short films and documentaries. Editor of more than 70 alternative and documentary films. Papers were presented at festivals, screenings, retrospectives and TV stations in Croatia and Europe (Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, France, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia ...), where he won 10 awards
