In a part of Dublin known as the Liberties - which is also where the Vikings settled 1100 years ago - there is a small tribe of rebel horse owners. And one day a travelling street musician accidentally crashes her van into the wall of one of their urban horse yards – and out comes a horse and a few boys. One of them brings her for a spin with a horse and two-wheeler, and from that day on she’s hooked…

Directors' Biography

Kristin Vollset is an award-winning Norwegian filmmaker, musician and producer whose work blends documentary, fiction and musical forms. A lifelong traveler, she studied at the London Film School and began her artistic career as a street musician in Europe and Mexico.
