DOKUNIGHTS - 15.08 - RICHII / TAM TAM / DIAMIN
As an essential part of DokuFest's spirit, Andrra Stage stands firm on hosting musical experiences for the audience to hold on to forever. On August 15, the closing night of its 25th anniversary, the festival rams a final convulsion of chrome, sweat, broken romance and rhythms with teeth. Music for moving sideways, kissing strangers, losing objects, changing shape and becoming briefly impossible to explain.
The sets of Diamin, Richii, and Tam Tam will ride a state of heavy dreaming/ dancing, thanks to their individually distinct genre-defying sound selection. DisKo to teKno, proto to post, punk to punk, tune in to dance to 303 squelch, liquid fuse, heavily distorted synths, and countless other organically weaved sonic textures.
Nothing clean.
Nothing polite.
Nothing left for tomorrow.

Richii
Richii is a DJ from Fukuoka, Japan, currently based in Berlin.
Richii is a seasoned music lover who’s no stranger to the intricately tasteful fluxes of international underground club scenes worldwide. Starting out as a party promoter in Fukuoka, Richii has led a global\nomadic lifestyle spanning from Japan to Australia and most recently Berlin, allowing her to rack up a considerable portfolio of dancefloor miles in different scenes. Richii’s unique sense of club atmosphere and love for records has inevitably guided her towards the DJ booth, debuting during the high tension Pandemic Summer as a new member of the Sound Metaphors family in a series of events spanning from illegal forest raves to various clubs in Berlin. Fast forward a few years and her sense of style and aesthetics in music have positioned her as a trusted reference within the Berlin underground scene, with residencies at the legendary Cocktail d’Amore parties and PDA, the underground Disko not Disko party.

Tam Tam
Co-father of DIY underground party PDA, Tam Tam is a DJ & promoter crafting unique community-led events in off locations around Berlin. Pushing a unique punk influenced, Acid tinged take on Disko & party hedonism. Living in Berlin but with his heart & musicality firmly rooted in the UK’s industrial North, Tam Tam’s sets transmit his regions' free party raving spirit into Patrick Miller style energy.

Diamin
Sourced from Latin American basements or snatched from Europe's most suburban warehouses, many of the records from Diamin's collection didn't yet get a proper chance to react with dancefloors. She trades in unrealized, potent dreams and highly reactive substances trapped in vinyl. Her interest in biology turns this experience into something organic & communal, a sort of world-building in real time, where every record is treated with curiosity and care – & it seems to work for dancers and radio shows alike.
It's akin to a springboard that Diamin uses to bounce off in different, adjustable directions. Serviervorschlag: queer-coded new wave acts, highly ambitious IDM, encyclopedic psychedelia, usually topped with acid of the deeper, unforgiving kind. Though based on friction between those ingredients, no matter what style you come from, there's room for you to dance and to grow.
Diamin has played at venues like Berghain, Bassiani, Tresor, De School, Rex, C12, RSO, among others, and has been featured on platforms such as Boiler Room, NTS Radio, Dekmantel Show x Red Light Radio, Groove Mag, The Ransom Note, Crack Magazine, Inverted Audio, and more. Currently, she is a resident at Mutant Radio (Tbilisi), where she hosts a bi-monthly show. Diamin also occasionally collaborates with queer/LGBTQ+ collectives like Maricas (Barcelona), PLU (Bristol), and Lacura (La Plata).
In addition to her personal project, Diamin co-directs a vinyl label called Tecnologías Elementales, which is set to release its third record this year with distribution by One Eye Witness.
