Directors' Biography
<p>Barbara Hammer is considered a pioneer of queer cinema. A visual artist working primarily in film, she has made over 80 moving image works in a career that spans 40 years. Many of her films have won awards and screened in prestigious film festivals and film venues internationally.</p>
