LYRA PRAMUK Lyra Pramuk is a visionary artist whose performances include a blend classical vocalism, pop sensibilities, performance art, and contemporary club culture. Growing up singing in choirs, Pramuk found solace in her unique interior world, shaped by the internet and a rejection of societal expectations. This early exploration paved the way for her to challenge and reinterpret the traditions of classical music, infusing her compositions with elements of pop and opera. Songcraft is a means of transcending artificial divisions and connecting people on a deeper level. Immersing herself in Berlin's techno scene, Pramuk discovered a profound sense of communal ecstasy and spiritual liberation. Collaborations with artists like Holly Herndon and Colin Self further enhanced her ability to infuse ritualistic dance floor experiences with intimate sonic connections. In her live performances, Pramuk's body and spirit become one, transporting herself and her audience to worlds where sound becomes a manifestation of physical and conscious desires. SPACE AFRIKA Space Afrika is a music duo that crafts slow-stepping, spacious urban dubscapes, weaving together elements of ambient, Detroit techno, and early nineties Sheffield with an innovative and unencumbered approach to composition. Their sound can be described as a stripped-down version of dub techno, encapsulated in a time capsule and sent back from the near future. The two Joshuas, who have been friends for nearly two decades, found solace and inspiration in music during the harsh Northern winters. Drawing heavily from the industrial architecture of Northwest England and the concept of exploration, Space Afrika constructs a sonic framework that conjures images of rust and disintegrating concrete, while simultaneously evoking sensations of movement and redemption.
