Synopsis

A three hour flow, following the invisible currents which interconnect people through culture and time. The land of Toronto, Nevada, Switzerland, South India. The smell of ecstasy, plastic, sex, dust and divinity. An associative tableau portaying the inexhaustible pursuits within which we attempt to bring meaning into our lives. A filmmakers journey which blends documentary observation with the logic of lyricism, the movements of music, probing to bring back a sense of wonder in everyday life.

Director Biography

For 20 years Peter Mettler has continued to create the kinds of films deemed impossible to make yet readily appreciated once they exist. Melting intuitive processes with drama, essay, experiment or documentation, his films continue to take a unique and influential position in creative expression and the merging of forms from cinema and other disciplines.
