A department store security guard is secretly in love with a clerk in the store’s bookshop. He frequently watches her via the store’s video monitoring system and follows her onto the train. When he witnesses a seeming rival being attacked in the train, he gets off instead of helping him. Not being able to deal with his bad conscience, his formerly controlled life breaks down.
Born in 1971, raised in Bern. Studied English and Communications at the University in Bern and Fribourg. Worked as cultural journalist for German Swiss Broadcasting Service (SF), Swiss Radio International (SRI), and in print media. Works as scriptwriter and director. 2004-07 Post-graduate studies at the KHM (Academy of Media Arts in Cologne).
