In this intimate video letter, the director addresses her aunt, a victim of femicide years ago, to tell her what it has been like to live and grow up with her absence. From a performance in which she projects the last Facebook message that her aunt sent her, the young filmmaker reconstructs her own story marked by the fear of inhabiting a dangerous country for women and by the complexity of being the only woman within her family.
Directors' Biography
Director, cinematographer and producer. Her work as cinematographer has been exhibited at festivals such as IFFR, Berlinale, etc. She was a beneficiary of the PECDA fund 2024-25 for her first short film as director "Miriam" that premiered at Berlinale Shorts 2026.
