Adem works on a construction site in Germany. While he lays the foundations for the lives of others, something within him begins to fracture. Amid the relentless rhythm of undocumented labor, he is haunted by the presence of a lost connection. As someone else’s memories slowly become his own, he searches for a way to send them back to Kosovo.
Directors' Biography
Edona Ademi (b. 1994, Saarlouis, Germany) is a Berlin-based director from Kosovo. Her films have screened at festivals including Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur and Nowe Horyzonty. She is in the directing department at the Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin (dffb).
