Synopsis

When the municipality of Lipjan decided to remake the river that runs through the village of Janjeva, it was done without consultation with its inhabitants. We tried to get answers from the officials but couldn't get through, we were, however, able to see the construction. In lieu of a dialogue, this is our comment on what they did.

Directors' Biography

Visar Berisha has no formal education in film or filmmaking, but a lifelong admiration for cinema and storytelling. Having been born in Janjeva, Kosova, he moved with his family to Sweden 1992 as refugees. Later he studied engineering. After moving to Uppsala he studied peace and conflict studies and political science. Currently he works with international development in Kosova on behalf of the Swedish Government.
