Union makes power and this is even truer, especially when it comes to collaborations that require creativity, a lot of minds, and a lot of work. This Tuesday's DokuTalk was dedicated to a wide-ranging discussion about filmmaker duos. Under the moderation of Dea Gjinovci, the panelists shared their experiences regarding having a partner in the shooting scene.

For the guests Boris Garavini, producer of the film "Knit's Island" and Guilhem Causse, co-director of "Knit's Island", the collaboration was born organically as they discovered at the university that they were both part of a community passionate about video games.

"When we met, we found ourselves talking about this virtual world, and eventually, while talking for hours, we came up with the idea to deal with exactly that theme that you saw in our film. What happens after you get tired of a video game", said Guilhem Causse about his collaboration with the film producer Boris Garavini.

While for the other duo, namely, Ada Solomon and Alexandru Solomon, the producer and filmmaker of the film "Arsenie. An Amazing Afterlife", sharing the shooting together is an organic process that has succeeded in finding balance.
"I would consider our relationship provocative and fun, but with a very strong basis," said Ada regarding her relationship with Alexandru.
"Ada has been more supportive of my projects when I have felt somewhat tired. Another quality that Ada shares is the ability to find the right person for the team, whenever I have a hard time finding a good collaborator she comes up with an ideal match that she has in mind giving me solutions.", said Alexandru Solomon.

This Tuesday's DokuTalk will be followed by another one that will be held this Wednesday in the same space to continue one of the most interesting parts of DokuFest, the discussions.
