This Saturday evening, the closing night of DokuFest was held in Lumbardhi Bahçe. This night brought together filmmakers, film enthusiasts, organizers, and supporters of this festival without whom nothing would have been possible.
The intense competition put some of the jurors in difficult positions, considering it necessary to make special mentions in addition to awards in specific categories.
An artist who triumphed and went up twice to win the awards on the DokuFest stage was the filmmaker Blerta Haziraj, whose film "The Future is Better Comrade" won the supporting scholarship from the "Les Fresnoy" foundation and Talent Dox - QKK Award.
"The Cervix Pass" grabbed the award as the best short film from Doc Alliance, while "Death of a City" received the same award for the feature film.
"Hana e re" by director Jehona Berisha was crowned with the Distribution Award. New Wave Grant winners are Flaka Kokolli and Aurela Berila.
Below we are bringing a list with all the winning films, of course, along with those from the hot area.

The filmmakers who won the awards made sure to greet the audience from the stage, some of them even virtually, while the representatives of supporting institutions and partner companies also shared messages about the importance of DokuFest.
The closing evening of DokuFest was the one that crowned all those beautiful days with films, friends, and discussions in Prizren. The one that left everyone with a sweet taste that we will continue to wait for until next year...
