Synopsis

At present time in actual life in film and virtually in-game, Oso, Lis, and Edvin are playing online video games, while Alban is programing. They are part of the new gaming subculture. What is their experience as they dwell in the online world? What can be felt through gaming and what can be thought of its purpose? The film is an extract of a larger ethnography on digital cultures and games.

Director Biography

Lum currently works with film, new media and video game design as a creative director, editor and producer in Prishtina, Kosovo. He is a founder and a co-founder of two emerging new media and social design enterprises. He received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Arts and Sciences from Rochester Institute of Technology (A.U.K. Campus in Prishtina), and currently pursuing a Masters degree in Visual and Media Anthropology Program (Department of Political and Social Sciences) at Freie University in Berlin.
