Synopsis

An odyssey, coming of age and family separation story of two young rap artist brothers deported to Kosovo, a country they never been to. Kefaet was born in Kosovo and taken by his parents to Germany at the age of four. He was married and has two children. Selami was born in Essen and has never been to Kosovo at all. Separated from their family and friends they try to cope with their situation and do everything in their power to return to Germany. But administration and asylum laws are standing in their way.

Director Biography

Sami Mustafa is an independent Romani filmmaker originally from Kosovo and now living in France. He founded the Romawood production company, is the artistic director of the Rolling Film Festival, and is engaged in various activities for promoting Romani art, culture, and human rights. His film Road to Home (2005) was screened at the 2007 festival in Cannes.
