Synopsis

A young girl in Tehran gets back home from school to find a note from her mother, telling her to check the mail box, as she runs down in hurry without her headscarf to get the mail and find her scholarship letter, the wind blows and the door closes behind her. She’s left on the street with no head scarf. The film is about her interaction with other people passing her by along with a neighbor (a young boy) who is keeping her company in an environment where she might get in trouble because of not having the scarf on.

Director Biography

Saba was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. She studied Theater- Directing. Saba got accepted in M.F.A program in Film and TV production major at NYU- Tisch school of the Arts, and she moved to NYC, where she started improving her film making skills in diverse atmosphere. Saba is in her last semester of M.F.A program and is developing her feature debut.
