Once every twenty years Kosinj region of Croatia becomes a huge lake due to torrential rain and snow meltdown. The only means of transportation and therefore of communication with the rest of the world that remain are provided only by a few boats. In 2010 two volunteer ferryman keep their community in contact with the outer world by carrying people and goods over this disaster struck area; disaster that might be seen either as the result of divine punishment, administrative indifference or the locals` stubbornness.
Directors' Biography
<p>Was born in Sisak in 1971. He studied archeology and law. In 2008 he took his degree in film and TV direction at the Zagreb Academy of Dramatic Arts. Today he works there as an assistant at the Department of Graduate Studies of Documentary Film.</p>
